Forgiving others

Forgiveness is an issue we all like to think isn’t a big deal……sorry guys, but I’m here to tell you it is a BIG deal!

Many hold a grudge thinking they’re protecting their image or something that is important. Others do it because the one who offended them is not sorry or hasn’t apologized.

Where in the Bible have we learned to forgive because someone has said “I’m sorry” to us or because they deserve it? Such a verse doesn’t exist. Jesus taught that we forgive as many times as we are offended.

Unforgiveness only hurts you and not the one who has offended you. It (unforgiveness) doesn’t aid progression, infact it keeps one down. The ability to forgive immediately you’re offended makes you light as a feather, and not burdened with the imperfections of others as it takes a lot of mental energy to keep a grudge.

We’ve been ordered by the Word of God to forgive as God has forgiven us. If everyone around you was to keep a grudge for every offense you commit life would be unbearable let alone if God didn’t forgive you.

It’s not only a sin to practice unforgiveness, it is also very unwise.

Let the LOVE on your inside triumph each time you are offended and forgive all!

Growing Up

Growing up is overrated…….how many of you have ever thought so? I have.

A child knows nothing and acts freely not knowing what is right or wrong and the ‘grown-ups’ around are constantly trying to shut the child up.  Then the child grows up to detest such freedom of the mind in others and begins to live with the ‘weight of the world’ on his/her shoulders.

Most people say that their best ideas came when they were young and that’s because when they ‘grow-up’, they consciously lose the freedom (especially of the mind) that they had.

So if growing up is what our elders have done is it really possible to get older, mature and still possess the creativity of one’s mind? Yes, it is!

Knowledge shouldn’t hold us back but empower us to correctly discharge our creativity. Christians should enter into the rest of God, worrying for nothing.

Don’t let anyone convince you that you’re not mature because you still possess the creativity of your mind and are mistaken to ‘act like a child’.

Continue to welcome change and let the glory of God be expressed in your creativity!!

Judging Others

We all ask not to be judged but we do it all the time consciously or unconsciously. Before I go on, let me ask you, “who do you think you are”? What gives you the right to judge another human even if the facts you have concerning the person are true?

The only person a Christian should is to judge is himself/herself, but most Christians have made it their business to decide whether (especially a Christian) is good or bad.
“…..our righteousness is nothing but a filthy rag before God….”

I see it as ‘spiritual bullying’. Why would you make others feel so bad about themselves? How does that make you better? Many Christians are so good at getting others to feel so much guilt that they’ve put satan out of business.

When a Christian sins, the one place he/she should want to be the most, where he/she is sure of being loved and accepted is the church, but many times they runaway instead.

Sons and Daughters of God, we’ve been called to LOVE, do that and nothing will be impossible!!
