PEACE

Two artists were asked to make paints of how they saw [imagined] “peace”.

One painted a beautiful environment with a lake and a field with two cats lying in it. The other painted a bird in its nest in a tree with a very strong wind blowing.

The latter depicts the peace that comes from God. Jesus didn’t promise us a life of no tribulation, in fact, He said we will have tribulation but we will have His peace. This peace comes from the Spirit of God within us.

In the midst of all the trials, tribulation, challenges, we will stand in peace.

This is how we ought to go through life, not disturbed by all the trouble around us and ministering this peace to others.

FAITH (Doing)

What is faith? This is a question many ask. Over the years, faith has been defined as many things: trusting, believing, expecting and so on. These definitions are all true but I want to talk about another aspect of faith.

Many times, I see people exercising their faith to the point of hoping and believing in God but nothing more. Faith doesn’t stop there. Faith is doing.

I will know what you believe by what you do. If you believe, then you will do. Actions are birthed out of beliefs.

Faith is taking responsibility in the light of the scriptures and expecting [knowing] God will do His part.

Faith is DOING!!
